Søren Torpegaard Lund
Danish singer, songwriter, and performer
This is Søren
Søren Torpegaard Lund is a multi-faceted Danish artist whose voice and presence have been shaped as much by the stage as by his own songwriting. Born in Gudme and trained in theatre, dance, and musical performance, Søren became the youngest student ever accepted into Den Danske Scenekunstskole’s Musicalakademiet, where he graduated with honours in 2019.
From leading roles in celebrated musical productions like West Side Story — where his portrayal of Tony won critical acclaim — to powerful performances across Jersey Boys, Matador – The Musical, and more, Søren’s artistry is rooted in storytelling that moves both heart and mind. Along the way he was recognised with the prestigious Reumert Talent Prize, marking him as one of Denmark’s most compelling voices of his generation.
But Søren isn’t just a stage performer — he’s a songwriter and recording artist. His debut EP Øjesten and a string of original singles blend emotional honesty with melodic depth, inviting listeners into his world with warmth and nuance. And in 2026, he captured the nation’s attention by winning the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with his song Før vi går hjem, earning the honour of representing Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest.
At Little Yellow House, we see in Søren not just a voice, but a storyteller — someone building connection through music that feels both personal and universal. His journey from musical stages to the pop spotlight reflects a commitment to craft, authenticity, and the courage to follow his own creative path.
